Sammy salamander

This is Sammy, He is a salamander that Zeb found. Zeb LOVES to explore the woods around us, well, while he was tearing up a old fallen tree he found Sammy, and about 20 roaches ( Shudder) I'm glad that the roaches where outside, not in the house!

He is black with gray spots.

Sammy on the table ( our table's scractes come with much us, its only a fold-out table, we have no room for a real table) Zeb and his new buddy, he has been carring Sammy around since he found him!
Sammy says good-bye!

Does anybody know what kind of salamander this is? I would like to know.
