Well, I'm back.

I'm home from Surgery now.

For the life of me, I can't pronounce my 'F' 'D' 'S' or 'R's right!!!

It wasn't as bad as I thought, thankfully.  And my siblings have been asking me to say all sorts of words to hear me pronounce it like a cleft pallet person would.  I have an Aunt who has Cleft Pallet, I can truly sympathize with her now!

Good thing? I get school off today, and perhaps tomorrow.
Bad thing?  My tongue is numb, my face is slightly swollen; but I don't think you could tell if you didn't already know me.  I am pretty wobbily and dizzy. (Not 'Ditzy' or 'dizzy'...big difference.  Thing is, it sounds like I am saying the other when I say 'dizzy'!! ☻).

The nurses were very nice, better then the nurse practitioner at the dentist office.
Oh, and the whateveritis that calms you down, that stuff is beyond awesome!!!  I could feel my heart rate go down and I got more comfortable after they gave it to me.  The last thing I remember is seeing the BIG lights over the operating bed.  They aren't the tiny discreet lights you see in movies, nope. These things were HUGE! and man, was the room cold!

Just thought I'd give you an update....

Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much.
