Of Broken Hearts

It strikes me, time and time again, just how breathtakingly beautiful the Song, 'Loch Lomond' is. Nearly brings tears to my eyes.  A young man, in love, writing a poetic farewell to his sweetheart.  I wonder, what happened to the girl?

It amazes me, how strong some people are, yet how feeble and weak our hearts are.

We yearn for a true love.  We reach out to those who could die, those who could leave us broken.

God gave us a strong organ, without it, We'd die.  But, on a emotional manner, our hearts are feeble, dainty and easily broken.  Look at our songs...:"Runaround Sue".  "Loch Lomond". "Hallelujah".

How feeble! Sometimes, I wonder, do I really want to entrust my heart to a mortal? Do I want to give some guy my love?

Peter Pan and Wendy! ♥

Look how many broken hearts there are! I'm one girl who stand out like a Blue among the blacks, and says, "Hey! I've never been in love! Hey! I've never had a broken heart! Hey! I'm free of that emotional baggage!".

I'll just say this, I don't belive in Fairy Tale love. I'm a hardened toughie when it comes to that.  Its all jolly to read, imagine and write about.  But is it real? Hardly.

It's gonna take one amazing sort of guy to win my love and my tender, guarded heart!

"where me and my true love were ever wont to gae"
~Loch Lomond~

"But I've seen your flag on the marble arch,
And love is not a victory march,"
"Here's my story, sad but true
It's about a girl that I once knew
She took my love then ran around
With every single guy in town"
~Runaround Sue~
